Bromyard is a purpose built competition and training venue designed
specifically for the competitor, the spectator and their family
and friends who like to come and support. Off a long drive the
centre is private and provides a safe environment for horses.
As you approach the facilities on your left is the outdoor arena
measuring 60m x 30m and is currently used as a warm up area for
competitions. Next spring we hope to introduce a third arena which
will allow two competitions to be run simultaneously. This arena
has a state of the art self watering sand and fibre surface from
Germany, has two judges boxes at C and B and is post and railed.
There is a large bank behind the main judges box which will have
seating for the summer months and a picnic area under the trees
overlooking the entire arena.
All pathways are extra wide and have
wood fibre surfaces for safety. There are separate walkways and
vehicle entrances to the lorry park, which is situated below the
indoor arena.
Across from the outdoor school is the main complex which houses
a 60m x 30m indoor arena with the same surface as the outdoor.
Around the arena are raised viewing galleries which give optimum
coverage of events and enable the horse & rider below to concentrate
without the distraction of spectators at ground level.
The galleries have seating for those wishing to eat and drink amidst the
action.
